The Association of Wyoming Insurance Agents (AWIA) was formed in
1995 by consolidating two other fine organizations - the Independent Insurance Agents
of Wyoming (IIAA) and the Professional Insurance Agents of Wyoming (PIA-WY).
Both organizations had a history spanning many decades of service to the insurance
industry in Wyoming.

When you join AWIA as a state organization, you automatically become a member of two national organizations -
Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of
America
The
National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.
As a member of both national organizations, you will have access to all the member
benefits of both organizations. Such benefits include Errors & Omissions Insurance,
Group Health Plans, Educational Benefits, Legislative & Lobbying Efforts, Information
Resources, Market & Placement Assistance and the list goes on.
